Mark Buell writes that Internet access is still characterized by high costs, low speeds, data caps, and poor or non-existent service.  Many rural and remote areas across Canada, such as the Nunavut capital of Iqaluit, pictured, are cut off from the world due to these barriers.  Canada’s First Nations feel that Truth and Reconciliation must start with bridging the digital divide.
