Bruce Buffalo, founder of Mamawapowin Technology Society, is a man who grew up bouncing around foster homes and struggling to make ends meet.  He originally started with Maskwacis Fibre, which has now grown into the registered not-for-profit called Mamawapowin.  Today he is driven to help others rise up out of poverty by providing affordable internet to First Nations communities in Canada.  Bruce believes that technology is the key to a brighter future for Indigenous Peoples and he’s willing to donate his time and energy to help them get there.
